In 2005, John and Carrie opened Associated with a simple mission: to serve customers with honesty, safety, and care. For years, the business ran smoothly — with no accidents, no insurance claims, and no major issues. But when medical challenges arose, we made the difficult decision to close our doors.

During that time, John, Carrie, and their son and son in law went to work for other companies. What they found was eye-opening: many trucking companies lacked the same moral compass and commitment to drivers that they had always believed in. They also met drivers who were losing everything because of the way they were treated.

We realized we couldn’t change how others chose to run their businesses — but we could reopen Associated  and with our family and build something better. A place where drivers are respected, supported, and treated like family. A place where our values guide every mile.

At Associated, we put our faith in our Lord and Savior first, our family second, and that makes our freight third — carried with care, because it matters to the people we serve. We believe that when our drivers are happy and supported, they pass that same dedication on to our customers.

By God’s grace, we’ve come a long way — and every load we deliver is a reflection of the values that brought us here: Faith, Family, and Freight.
